282 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT Mr. Washmon has been licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. Ever committed to his profession, Mr. Washmon is a founding fellow of the Austin Bar Foundation and a life fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. These organizations both serve as the charitable arm of their respective bar associations. In his other civic-minded endeavors, he also remains active as a volunteer and donor at his local children’s hospital in Austin, Texas, and with Business Executives for National Security. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Washmon largely attributes his success to his passion for resolving problems and tackling new challenges. Furthermore, he is emboldened by seeing others achieve their dreams and accomplish their goals. Looking toward the future, Mr. Washmon looks forward to further improving himself, both professionally and personally. Leveraging 25 years of professional experience, Thomas C. Washmon is a proven leader in the field of law. Specializing in corporate law and legal structure and strategy for businesses, he has served as the president and general counsel for Privateer Capital Management LP since 2013. A multi- faceted professional, he has also served as a board member of the St. Mary’s University Board of Trustees (law alumni representative), the St. Mary’s University School of Law Alumni Board, the Grey Rock Energy Partners and the Lucena Group LLC since 2023, 2016, 2014 and 2013, respectively. Additionally, Mr. Washmon holds various other advisory board positions, such as with American Ventures, which he joined in 2021. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Washmon pursued a formal education, beginning with his time at Washington and Lee University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 1993. After studying at the Institute of World Legal Problems at the University of Innsbruck in 1996, he subsequently attended the St. Mary’s University School of Law and achieved a JD in 1998.
