He previously served as a lieutenant and barrack commander for the Maryland State Police. Though he is now retired from full-time work, he continues to assist in his industry by serving as an analyst and advisor for the United States Capitol Police. Adjacent to his primary endeavors, Mr. Reichenbaugh has dedicated himself to his own creative pursuits, having authored “In Pursuit: The Hunt for the Beltway Snipers,” which details his participation in the 2002 Beltway Snipers case. As part of his dedication to his profession, Mr. Reichenbaugh remains active as a member of the National Law Enforcement Museum. Furthermore, he previously pursued a formal education, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice, with a minor in political science, at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1980.
