With a keen focus on high-quality customer service and business management, he currently serves as the owner and president of Seelye Auto Group. Specializing in sales of new and used Kia, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles, the company has four locations in the state of Michigan, with two in Kalamazoo, one in Paw Paw and one in Battle Creek. As the head of the company, Mr. Seelye visits job sites, communicates with location managers, works with customers and manages business finances. Mr. Seelye is the third generation in his family to own and run Seelye Auto Group, with the company having been originally founded in 1963. He began working within the family business while he was in seventh grade, during which time he began learning the trade and assisted with automotive detailing work. Before entering his current leadership role, Mr. Seelye served as the general manager and vice president of operations for the business. Outside of his primary vocational interests, he also previously worked with the West Hills Athletic Club as part of Western Michigan University as a certified personal trainer. As part of his professional journey, Mr. Seelye pursued higher education at Olivet College, earning a bachelor’s degree in business in 2001. In addition to his academic credentials, he also earned certification through The Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals, an organization with which Seelye Auto Group remains actively affiliated. Furthermore, Mr. Seelye was a member of the judging committee for the Better Business Bureau serving Western Michigan, which honored Seelye Auto Group with the Torch Award for Ethics in 2020. Seelye Auto Group has been honored with several other accolades over the course of its career. They were named one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation in 2022. The company has also been recognized by Edmunds as a Five-Star Dealer on 11 occasions and a FiveStar Premier Dealer on 15 occasions. In accounting for his achievements, Mr. Seelye attributes his success to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his parents, family, friends and former coaches.
