Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Hatheway started a clinical consultant company, JJH Consulting, in 2021 and remains the owner. She also excelled as the program director for women’s health at Health Decisions from 2017 to 2021. Since beginning her career in 2007, Ms. Hatheway has also worked with notable companies and institutions such as Covance (now Labcorp Drug Development), F. HoffmannLa Roche Ltd. and Goshen General Hospital. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Hatheway pursued a formal education, beginning with her time at Indiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology, with honors, in 2006. She subsequently continued her collegiate studies at Indiana Wesleyan University and achieved a Master of Business Administration in 2012. Ms. Hatheway has also been recognized by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the American Society for Clinical Pathology as a certified clinical research associate and a certified medical technologist, respectively. In her civic-minded endeavors, Ms. Hatheway was a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. To commemorate her accomplishments, she was previously honored with a Distinguished Employee Award and a Repeat Business Award. In accounting for her achievements, she has largely attributed her success to the influence of the late Dr. Robert Abel, her family’s former physician.
