100 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION Bolstered by nearly a decade of professional experience, Joshua M. De Lao is a rising expert in the field of education. Since 2022, he has served as a technology coach for the Clint Independent School District in El Paso County, Texas. He originally joined the district in 2015, operating as a fourth-grade teacher until 2019, at which point he became a fifth-grade teacher. Specializing in instructional technology, Mr. De Lao has excelled in integrating technology applications and websites across all major subject areas, such as reading, mathematics and science. Mr. De Lao originally began his career in 2015, working as a student intern for the Ysleta Independent School District. Before embarking on his vocational journey, he pursued a formal education, beginning with his time at El Paso Community College, where he earned an Associate of Arts in teaching in 2012. He subsequently attended The University of Texas at El Paso and achieved a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, elementary education and teaching in 2015. Mr. De Lao also recently received a master’s degree in instructional technology from Grand Canyon University in 2019. Well-regarded for some of his earliest accomplishments in the field, Mr. De Lao was honored as a Teacher of the Month by the Clint Independent School District in 2016 and 2017. To remain abreast of developments in his industry, he maintains affiliation with the Association of Texas Professional Educators and the American Federation of Teachers. Over the course of his career, Mr. De Lao has come to recognize that “when you least expect it, students will always surprise you.” To this end, he enjoys participating in student enrichment programs, and he hopes to instill in his fellow educators that, despite the ups and downs of life, they are consistently making a difference in the lives of their students. In light of his own fulfilling career, Mr. De Lao has largely attributed his success to his open-minded attitude and ability to create fruitful community interactions. JOSHUA M.
