Ms. Perez began her career only a short time after she graduated from high school. During her tenure with Boeing, she specialized in the building fundamentals for various satellite projects, with her notable responsibilities including overseeing satellite production and transportation to launch sites. Ms. Perez also served the organization as a manager for spacecraft integrity and testing of GSE and riggers, and she was a project manager with Boeing Intelligence & Analytics. Throughout her career, Ms. Perez accumulated and demonstrated a wealth of practiced expertise in program management, project planning and leadership. To wit, she previously coordinated efforts with other managers and engineers across multiple shifts and managed 50 union technicians who, in turn, supported an array of 12 satellites. Furthermore, she was a team lead for BSS composite production. Ms. Perez also gained a wealth of knowledge in battery production, thermal engineering and design, microwave tubes, spot welding and cryogenics. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Perez is particularly proud of her work in the completion process of numerous satellites. Such opportunities were a regular part of her vocational journey, and she offers a great deal of thanks to the Boeing Company for providing her with such experiences. Her gratitude extends to the earliest days of her time in the field, during which time she was also able to further her own education and offer valuable contributions at various stages of the development process. Furthermore, Ms. Perez is appreciative of the positive workplace environment and culture that has been developed at the company. With over four decades of professional experience to her credit, Linda Sanders Perez has cultivated a career of excellence in the fields of science and engineering. Prior to retiring in 2016, she served as a functional manager for Boeing Satellites, having originally joined the company in 1979 as a graphic designer and assembler.
