Furthermore, she hopes to watch the scientific community continue to expand and make new discoveries. Outside of her professional achievements, Ms. Perez is gratified to share her good fortune with her family, including her husband, Ed, and her three children: Ryan, Shawn and Ciji. In addition to bolstering her own academics, Ms. Perez found numerous opportunities to educate others in her field as she rose through the ranks. She notably taught the fundamentals of building, structuring and designing satellites to her colleagues and other rising engineers. Ms. Perez is also proud to have served at the forefront of many exceptional scientific and engineering developments as the only female functional manager working on satellites while serving Boeing.
