Since 2012, he has served as the owner of Sharky’s Place, a popular neighborhood bar and grill located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The sports restaurant has remained a staple of the community for 30 years. In his leadership position, Mr. Wilson oversees various advertising, financial and management duties for the business. He previously operated as the owner and financial advisor for Wilco Financial for 25 years. Before beginning his career, Mr. Wilson pursued formal education at Sul Ross State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in history in 1972. He subsequently continued his studies at Texas Tech University and achieved a master’s degree in history. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Wilson is a certified estate planner and licensed in life insurance annuities. He has been honored with several accolades over the course of his career, including having Sharky’s Place featured as the Best of the Best in Sports Bars by WRAL. He is proud of his work as the owner of Sharky’s Place and looks forward to further helping others in the coming years.
