Specializing in patient triage and education, she recently joined the EyeCare Center of Stamford LLC as an administrator in 2022. The business is well-regarded in the Stamford, Connecticut, community for providing the highest quality surgical eye care. Ms. BloomGoldstein possesses a wealth of experience in the field as a diabetes educator, having been certified by the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. She also maintains membership with the American Diabetes Association. Before entering her current position, Ms. Bloom-Goldstein worked extensively in the billing department of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Additionally, she was a scrub technician for a local facial plastic company. Outside of her primary duties, she has remained active as a civicminded citizen in her community, regularly participating as an emergency medical technician for the Larchmont Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Bloom-Goldstein pursued a formal education, beginning with her time at the College of New Rochelle, where she earned a Bachelor of Social Work in 1993. She subsequently continued her studies at Yeshiva University in New York City and achieved a Master of Social Work in administration in 1994. Though she originally intended to begin a career in social work, Ms. Bloom-Goldstein instead turned toward medical administration after discovering her love for educating patients and colleagues in the field. As such, her adaptability has played a crucial role in her success, as she was able to transition from working in endocrinology to eye care. Furthermore, she attributes many of her accomplishments to her ability to listen to others, her judgment skills and her open-mindedness. In the coming years, Ms. Bloom-Goldstein looks forward to further innovating and developing the practice at the EyeCare Center of Stamford.
