305 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT Having recently begun her professional career, Dominique Shantal Bailem is a rising expert in the field of social work. Specializing in resident placement and discharging patients, she joined Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral, Florida, as the social services coordinator in 2022. In this role, she oversees patient and resident care plans and regularly meets with her staff members to discuss company procedures. Ms. Bailem previously held a similar position at Calusa Harbour in Fort Myers, Florida, from 2018 to 2021. She originally joined the company as a housekeeper in 2016. Further, Ms. Bailem will be joining Health Park Care & Rehabilitation Center in Fort Myers, Florida, in May 2023. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Bailem pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in applied behavioral science at Ashford University in 2017. She also remained active as a basketball player, which she played from 5th through 12th grade. Outside of her primary interests, she participates as a civic-minded Evangelist in her community and regularly participates with the Feed the Homeless organization. As she has already accrued a wealth of professional experience and success in the field, Ms. Bailem has received much recognition for her accomplishments from the Queens of Social Work organization. In light of her fulfilling career thus far, she attributes much of her success to her religious faith. Likewise, in accounting for her achievements, she is especially proud to have excelled in her spiritual journey while propelling herself forward through her professional journey. Furthermore, she is thankful for all the work she has accomplished for her residents. Looking toward the future, Ms. Bailem hopes to continue along her path as a social worker by traveling to Jerusalem to develop a new homeless shelter and proclaim the gospel.
