314 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT Bolstered by four decades of practical expertise, Amado Cano Salinas II is a proven leader in the fields of project and real estate development. With a keen focus on serving underprivileged communities, he founded SHG International Organization (SHGIntl.org) in 2016 and the Hispanic American Police Command Officers Association of Southern California Chapter (HAPCOASOCAL. org), where he continues to serve on the executive board on both of the nonprofit organizations. Both organizations focus on administrative command management training and addressing advocacy groups. In his leadership role, Mr. Salinas oversees and manages the development of administrative projects. Mr. Salinas accrued his experience by working in the real estate industry and is still a licensed realtor, having begun his career in 1984. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, he served in the United States Navy from 1978 to 1983, during which time he specialized as an Intermediate Level Avionics Technician on Avionics Flight/Guidance Systems, PDU/ HUDS-UP Display and Munitions. Mr. Salinas remains dedicated to civic advocacy, serving as a volunteer and appointed to the American Legion National Legislative Council and the National Media and Communications Council while also currently serving as the Department of California Area Five Judge Advocate. Additionally, Mr. Salinas is a lifetime member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and continues to work for the HAPCOA SOCAL Chapter, Helping Heroes and the Camp of Champions. Well regarded for his dedication to his profession, Mr. Salinas has been honored with the Commander’s Performance Award from the American Legion and continues to support veterans and the law enforcement community. He is driven by his motto, “God, Family and Country.” He largely attributes his success to his dedication and willingness to put in extra efforts for his clients and colleagues.
