Leveraging over four decades of professional experience, Dan Moore Sr. has cultivated a career of excellence as a historian and author. In 1978, he established the APEX Museum in Atlanta, Georgia, which offers numerous exhibits and pieces of historical memorabilia that provide visitors with a broader understanding of African American culture and history in the United States and abroad. In his creative endeavors, Mr. Moore has also published several books, including “Sweet Auburn Street of Pride: A Pictorial History” in 2007 and the “Guide to Nonprofit Development” in 2012. Adjacent to his primary duties, Mr. Moore previously served as the president of Image 7, Inc., and Omega Films for several years. To commemorate his professional accomplishments, he was honored with an award from the state of Georgia and was named in a list of the 10 Most Important People. He was initially inspired to found his museum after attending a banquet held in honor of Dr. Benjamin Mays, who played an instrumental role in establishing intellectual foundations during the civil rights movement. Dr. Moore hopes to create further historical exhibits in the coming years. Nancy Heinsohn Oldham boasts several decades of practiced expertise in business management and leadership. In 2021, she became the president of the Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club in Florida. Prior to joining the global organization, she worked extensively in the airline industry, specializing as a flight attendant for Trans World Airlines for 37 years. To commemorate her service transporting military personnel during Operation Desert Storm, Ms. Oldham was honored with an Outstanding Achievement Medal from the United States Department of the Air Force. Ms. Oldham previously pursued a formal education, earning a BS in elementary education at the State University of New York at Cortland. Additionally, she is fully certified as a school teacher in New York. She also remains active as a civic-minded citizen, having chiefly maintained her positions as a tradition community ambassador and as a member of the landscape committee for Lakes at Tradition. Likewise, she was a volunteer community patrol officer for 15 years. Ms. Oldham has attributed many of her achievements to the support and mentorship of her parents, who served as a positive influence by instilling in her a drive to succeed. NANCY HEINSOHN OLDHAM
