Vinson is a proven leader in the field of architecture. Since 1984, he has excelled as an architect, specializing in hospitality and hotel design. Currently licensed to work in over 25 U.S. states, he has designed numerous high-rises and lifestyle resorts over the course of his career. In 1987, Mr. Vinson co-founded PFVS Architects, where he served as the company’s director of design until 2016 and took on the role of president in 2017. Mr. Vinson pursued a formal education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a BS and a master’s degree in architecture in 1979 and 1982, respectively. Ever dedicated to his profession, he also remains affiliated with the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Attributing much of his success to his perseverance and honest nature, Mr. Vinson is especially proud of his company’s involvement as one of three architects in the Plant Riverside Project in Savannah, Georgia, for which he and his colleagues were honored with the AIA Georgia Award, the Urban Planning Award and the Historic Award.
