Ms. Ramirez cultivated her formal education, beginning with her time at Long Island University, where she earned a BA in theater arts, with a minor in dance and education, at the C.W. Post Campus. She subsequently continued her studies at the New York Institute of Technology and achieved an MA in mass communication, summa cum laude, in 2003. A talented wine enthusiast as well, Ms. Ramirez holds a certificate in wine analysis from the University of California, Davis, and she has sold imported wines to several restaurants and businesses.
