A rising expert in the film industry, since 2010, she has founded and served as chief executive officer of Gina Parris Entertainment Ltd. She is responsible for the production of film, television and documentary projects created by her company. Furthermore, she specializes as an actress, screenplay writer and producer. Some of her projects include the award-winning film “A Twist of Life,” the television show “The Honest Honestest Truth,” which won a grant from the Trinidad and Tobago Film Company, and most recently, the docuseries “Like A Dog with A Bone,” a visual guide to surviving in the entertainment industry. Ms. Parris is proud to be a member of the Television Academy, Women in Film, and Powerful Ladies of Trinidad and Tobago. She has an MFA in acting for film, with honors, from New York Film Academy and is listed as a notable alumnus on their website. She also holds an MA in counseling and a BS in behavioral science.
