Specializing in cardiology and electrocardiography, she has worked with the Montefiore Medical Center, based in the Bronx, New York, since 2007. As a valued member of the medical institution, she operates as a registered nurse in the transplant unit, and in 2022, she took on a secondary position as a family nurse practitioner. Dr. Louis-Paul started her career in neonatal care and pediatrics in Haiti after graduating in 1991. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Dr. Louis-Paul pursued a formal education. As a student of Ecole Nationale des Infirmieres de Portau-Prince, she earned a degree in nursing in 1991. After immigrating to the United States in 1999, she continued her studies at Mercy College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She also earned a Master of Science in Nursing at Pace University. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she returned to school and achieved a Doctor of Nursing Practice in leadership at Chamberlain University in 2022, thus concluding her academic endeavors. Ever committed to her industry, Dr. Louis-Paul remains affiliated with the American Nurses Association. Likewise, she continues to volunteer in charitable events with her local church. Outside of her primary professional interests, she also maintains her love of writing and designing clothes. To commemorate her achievements, Dr. Louis-Paul has been honored with numerous awards throughout her career for her dedication to helping others. In light of her fulfilling career, Dr. Louis-Paul has largely attributed her success to her faith, resilience and passion, as well as the support of her friends, family and colleagues. Furthermore, in accounting for her accomplishments, she is particularly proud of her ability to inspire other young individuals in her field. In the coming years, she hopes to continue her studies and extend her reach as a health care practitioner throughout the United States.
