Operating at the head of her business, Ms. Daigneault specializes in wine history, wine marketing and sales, the neurology of taste and smell, and education for industry certifications. Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Daigneault excelled in brand and district management for wine distribution and imports. Additionally, she was the wine technology coordinator for South Seattle College from 2005 to 2017 along with her tenure as a full-time faculty member. She taught wines of the world, wine marketing and sales, wine business, wine history, and sensory evaluation. At the onset of her career, Ms. Daigneault was a wine director for the Palisade Restaurant from 1992 to 2000. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Daigneault pursued a formal education, originally studying hospitality management at Florida International University from 1983 to 1985. She also holds a diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, in addition to certifications from the Wine Scholar Guild and as a Bordeaux Tutor at L’Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux. Furthermore, Ms. Daigneault remains active as a teacher for the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and a French Wine Scholar teacher for the Wine Scholar Guild. She is also a contributing writer for Tasting Room Magazine. Ms. Daigneault has largely attributed her success to her passion for learning through her work within the wine industry and her own curiosity. Likewise, in accounting for her accomplishments, she is proud to have developed the wine program at South Seattle College and her classes within her business. In the coming years, she hopes to continue teaching, traveling and inspiring others, all as part of her efforts within her field. With over three decades of professional experience to her credit, Regina “Reggie” Daigneault has cultivated a fulfilling career in the wine industry. Since 2017, she has served as the lead wine educator and tour president of Reggiewine, her own academic food and wine business based in Seattle, Washington.
