Specializing in restaurant ownership, he has served as the owner of Lake Gaston Pizza & More since 2016, and in 2023, he took on ownership of LKG 2 Pizza & More. Both North Carolina-based establishments are well regarded in their respective communities for providing high-quality food and customer service to all who enter. Prior to his current leadership role, Mr. Richardson excelled as the owner and operator of The Lakehouse Restaurant from 2004 to 2007. He additionally managed two other local restaurants from 1990 to 1999. At the onset of his career, he operated as a co-owner of The Lincoln in Petersburgh, Virginia, between 1988 and 1989. Throughout his career, Mr. Richardson has thrived thanks to his southern-style home cooking, which has attracted thousands of customers. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Richardson pursued a formal education. To wit, he completed a culinary internship at the Wyndham Resort between 1989 and 1990. He subsequently achieved a diploma in culinary arts at Paul Prudhomme’s New Orleans School of Cooking in 1992. Adjacent to his primary professional interests, Mr. Richardson has also remained active as a civic-minded citizen, having founded several creative charitable events in his community, including Lake-A-Palooza, the Wabble Island Inc. concert event, and an annual Christmas toy drive. To commemorate his accomplishments, Mr. Richardson has been honored with several accolades over the course of his career. He has earned several Readers’ Choice Awards between 2016 and 2022, and his restaurants have been named for Best Pizza, Best Wings, Best Server and Best Sandwiches during the same period. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Richardson has largely attributed his success to his dedication to providing quality products at reasonable prices with exceptional customer service. Likewise, he is immensely grateful for the love and guidance of his wife, Tami Richardson, who has stood by him through some of the most difficult times in his life.
