Specializing in computing hardware, software and infrastructure design, he founded Structured Cabling Consultants, LLC in 2018, where he continues to offer specialized services, such as Fiber Optic Fusion Splicing, certification and troubleshooting. Some of Mr. Brooks’ noteworthy clients include Hotwire Communications, Suncoast Communications, Comcast and Palm Beach County Schools. At the onset of his career, Mr. Brooks excelled as a project manager for Daou Systems, Inc., from 1997 to 1999. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, he pursued a formal education, earning a BBA at Strayer University. He subsequently continued his studies after beginning his work in the field, achieving an MBA at the Jack Welch Management Institute in 2013. Adjacent to his primary duties in the field, Mr. Brooks remains active as a civic-minded citizen, regularly participating in ocean conservation initiatives. Likewise, in accounting for his accomplishments, he attributes his success to his dedication to his profession, and he is proud of his role in the FirstNet project.
