Mr. Maggitti has added his grandson, Kyle Hegarty, to the Vimco family business. Mr. Maggitti naturally gravitated toward a career in the construction industry from a young age, with his father having also previously worked for many years in the field. To wit, Mr. Maggitti used to drive his father’s truck, delivering sand and stone for contractors. They founded Vimco Inc. together in 1960.
