103 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION FOUNDER Thinking Minds LLC Brooklyn, NY TEACHER Las Cruces Public Schools Las Cruces, NM VINNY “ZANE” KABANOV Vinny “Zane” Kabanov is a proven leader in the field of education, leveraging nearly two decades of professional experience. In 2019, he founded Thinking Minds LLC in Brooklyn, New York, which provides special education teacher support services and academic assistance to students with special needs. Serving as the head of his business, Mr. Kabanov personally teaches various grade levels and subjects, in addition to assisting his fellow educators with their daily duties and overseeing other company operations. Mr. Kabanov has similarly excelled as a special educator for the New York City Department of Education since 2013. Mr. Kabanov originally began his career working as a paraprofessional for the New York City Department of Education between 2005 and 2006. As part of his vocational journey, he also cultivated his own formal education, ultimately achieving an MS in special education at Touro College in 2014. In addition to his academic credentials, he also holds several teaching certifications in the state of New York. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Kabanov has largely attributed his success to his parents, who sacrificed much for him and his sister. Rebecca Ann King is a proven expert in the field of education, leveraging over five decades of professional experience. Since 1975, she has served as a teacher at Las Cruces Public Schools, specializing in subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics and science. Likewise, she regularly serves as a substitute teacher at the J. Paul Taylor Academy. Ever committed to her profession, Ms. King also remains active as a lifetime member of the National Education Association. In her civic-minded efforts, Ms. King participates as the precinct vice chair of Dona Ana County. Furthermore, she is a board member and program chair of Soroptimist International of Las Cruces, New Mexico. As part of her vocational journey, she previously cultivated her own formal education, achieving a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, with a minor in physical education, at Western New Mexico University. To commemorate her accomplishments, Ms. King was inducted into the National Education Association Hall of Fame in New Mexico in 2009.
