JAMES SAWYER, PHD Leveraging over four decades of professional experience, Dr. M. James Sawyer has cultivated a fulfilling career in the field of education. He recently joined the Grace Evangelical Seminary, as part of the New England Bible College & Seminary, as an adjunct professor in 2021. Prior to his current role, he excelled as a dean and professor at the Pacific Islands Evangelical Seminary in Mangilao, Guam. Since beginning his career in 1984, Dr. Sawyer has specialized in church history, hermeneutics, and systematic and historical theology. Dr. Sawyer also serves as the founder of Sacred Saga Ministries, a nonprofit organization dedicated to extending educational opportunities worldwide. To this end, he has worked in different countries such as Guam, Ghana and Bulgaria. In his own academic pursuits, Dr. Sawyer ultimately achieved a PhD in historical theology at the Dallas Theological Seminary in 1987. Dr. Sawyer has authored numerous books over the course of his career as well, with his most recent release being his 2017 book, “Resurrecting the Trinity: A Plea to Recover the Wonder and Meaning of the Triune God.” He largely attributes his success to his passion for and love of sharing knowledge. Leveraging over 20 years of professional experience, Dr. Cyndy Reed Stewart is a proven expert in the field of education. Having served with many local community schools and colleges in Florida for much of her career, she currently serves as an educator at the Governance Charter Academy, an affiliate institution of Renaissance Charter Schools, Inc., which offers classes for students through kindergarten to eighth grade. Dr. Stewart focuses on teaching mathematics and bridging the gap between different cultures. Ever committed to her professional interests, Dr. Stewart remains affiliated with the Florida Education Association and the League of Women Voters. Before beginning her vocational journey, she cultivated her own higher education, ultimately achieving a PhD in educational leadership at Iowa State University in 1983. In addition to her academic credentials, she is certified as a special education teacher. Well-regarded for her accomplishments, Dr. Stewart was awarded for Unyielding Faith and Support to African American Graduate Students. Attributing much of her success to her passion for learning and teaching others, she is proud to have seen many of her former students grow into successful adults. CYNDY REED STEWART, PHD
