He later continued his studies at North Dakota State University, achieving a Bachelor of Science in environmental design and architecture in 2013 and a Master of Architecture in 2014. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Avard is licensed to operate in the states of Montana, North Dakota, Texas and New Mexico. Over the course of his career, Mr. Avard has participated in numerous noteworthy construction projects. With CWG Architecture, he worked on the MDT Quartz Flats Rest Area in Montana in 2022. Likewise, while working with Zerr Berg Architects, he was a co-creator of numerous facilities and renovation projects, including additions at Rustad Park in North Dakota, the Shanley-Sullivan School and the LPA Media Center. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Avard largely attributes his success to his support network, comprised of his family and friends. Bolstered by more than a decade of experience, Matthew M. Avard is an expert in the field of architecture. Since 2015, he has worked with CWG Architecture, an independent architectural design and engineering firm based in Helena, Montana. Originally joining as a project manager, he recently became a partner and principal architect for the company in 2023. In his current roles, Mr. Avard focuses on managing his staff, working alongside clients, and conceptualizing and completing a wide array of company projects. In addition to commercial design, Mr. Avard has also specialized in education, retail sales and government work throughout his time in the field. He previously served as a teaching assistant at North Dakota State University, his alma mater, in 2013. Furthermore, as part of his endeavors in architecture, he worked with Zerr Berg Architecture as a project manager between 2014 and 2015. At the onset of his career, Mr. Avard was a concrete finisher for K&L Construction from 2011 to 2013. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Avard pursued a formal education, originally MATTHEW M.
