TALLEY Leveraging over 50 years of professional experience, Charles B. Talley is a proven expert in the field of energy. Since 2014, he has served as the vice president of technology and chief chemist at Ideal Energy Solutions LLC, where he develops new chemical products that are unique in the oil industry. Since beginning his career in 1969, Mr. Talley has offered his talents as a chemist to various chemical and energy companies, including Frac-Chem, the Pennwalt Chemical Company and Five Star Chemicals & Supply LLC. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Talley pursued a formal education, achieving a Bachelor of Science in analytical chemistry at Philadelphia University (now Thomas Jefferson University). Additionally, he holds 13 patents for various key industry projects, including for a product that reduces the pour point and viscosity of heavy oil and eases the extraction process. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Talley attributes his success to his skills as a listener and observer. Likewise, in accounting for his accomplishments, he is particularly proud of his patented works. In the coming years, he looks forward to contributing further innovations to the energy industry. Michael A. Thomas is distinguished for his analytical and interdisciplinary methodologies, having accrued success in the energy, political and military sectors. Since 2020, he has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of Seraph Energy LLC. Likewise, he co-founded the Harbinger Technologies Group and previously established a homeland security technology and consulting business. Earlier in his career, Mr. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy from 1995 to 2012, rising to the rank of naval commander and intelligence officer before his military retirement. Notably, he served in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo, having been awarded the Bronze Star for his actions overseas. He also received the Navy Achievement Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal and Defense Meritorious Service Medal. Mr. Thomas formerly served as the director of strategy and planning for Vanguard Renewables, a senior advisor to U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, and the vice president of external relations for Achievement First. He graduated from Yale Law School in 1995. As a testament to his success, he was inducted into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame in 2013 and received the Connecticut Small Business Administration Veteran Business Champion Award in 2012.
