As part of his duties in the field, Mr. Long oversees all daily operations within his business. Mr. Long’s business was originally founded by his grandfather. As a family enterprise, he would later inherit it from his father. Ever committed to his professional endeavors, he dedicates himself to providing the highest quality products and services to his customers. As an extension of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Long also remains registered with and licensed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as a federal firearms licensee. In addition to his primary efforts, Mr. Long also worked in the automotive industry as a salesman for Chevrolet for 17 years. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, he pursued a formal education, attending a trade school for work as an auto and diesel mechanic. Furthermore, he honorably served in the United States Air Force for four years. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Long has largely attributed his success to his perseverance and dedicated work ethic. Likewise, in accounting for his achievements, he is particularly proud to have restored and saved his store following a flood in 1985. In the coming years, Mr. Long looks forward to retiring and training his son to take over the family business. With more than six decades of professional experience to his credit, Ben F. Long III has cultivated a fulfilling career as a business owner and entrepreneur. For 47 years, he has served as the owner of B.F.
