SMALLEY Possessing over 20 years of experience, LaKendra D. Smalley has thrived as a business owner, entrepreneur and community leader. In 2010, she founded the Global Life Coach Training and Entrepreneur Institute, where she serves as the owner and chief executive officer. As a master coach, Ms. Smalley has guided thousands across various industries, instilling responsibility and a commitment to leading with love. Her company embodies her mission to unite diverse people globally and cultivate the next generation of influential leaders. She also created the trademark ICARE Global Heart Model to help leaders guide their teams with love and impact. Ms. Smalley’s career began as an educational behaviorist, excelling from 2004 to 2019. After retiring, she partnered with school districts to tackle the mental and behavioral health crisis among students post-COVID-19. She earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership at Strayer University in 2010. Beyond her primary duties, she hosts charity events for local and global organizations, including Be Kind Community Inc. Honored as a Hometown Hero by Radio One/NAACP, she was also a top finalist for the esteemed Joy Awards founded by Taraji P. Henson. Bolstered by nearly two decades of professional experience, Christopher N. Stemler has cultivated a fulfilling career as a business manager and entrepreneur. Since 2021, he has served as the regional vice president for CUNA Mutual Group, a mutual insurance and financial services company in Topeka, Kansas. Likewise, he is the owner of Trident Partnerships, a renovation and historical renewal company that he began in 2021. Furthermore, in 2019, Mr. Stemler took on ownership of The Beacon, a recently restored event venue based in Topeka where he hosts weddings and other private gatherings. Before beginning his career in 2008, Mr. Stemler pursued a formal education, earning an associate degree in political science at Washburn University in 2006. He ultimately achieved an MBA at Baker University in 2019. Adjacent to his primary professional duties, he also continues to participate as a civic-minded citizen, having served as the recruitment chair of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity since 2004. Mr. Stemler has also fundraised with United Way of America since 2008.
