169 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine FINANCE AND INSURANCE Washington, DC In her role as a director, Dr. Ezenwa-Onuaku hails from a professional journey characterized by service to women, educators and the underprivileged. She previously worked as an acting director of finance and accounting at Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, where she also served as a financial planning and analysis manager from 2020 to 2022. She also operated as an accounting manager for Achieving the Dream, an adjunct professor of finance at Strayer University, and a finance intern at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Dr. Ezenwa-Onuaku is the founder and president of WealthyGen Inc., a nonprofit organization that seeks to promote financial literacy for women and children, provide financial counseling services for those in need, support enterprise development for women living in poor households, and support equitable access to education for all. She was inspired to establish the organization following her own experiences living amidst destitution in Nigeria, through which she saw firsthand how, despite the hard work of families everywhere, a lack of financial knowledge can cripple any attempts to rise out of poverty. She also created the WealthyGen app, a mobile application that helps people manage their finances. In 2023, the United Nations bestowed WealthyGen with special consultative status for helping many others achieve their financial goals. Dr. Ezenwa-Onuaku initially studied economics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University and earned a BS in 2004. Following this accomplishment, she immigrated to the United States and attained an MBA in finance and an MS in public accounting at Strayer University in 2009 and 2011, respectively. She went on to attend Argosy University, from which she received a DBA in international business in 2017. Looking forward, she hopes to retire from her corporate career and dedicate herself to expanding the global reach of WealthyGen. Leveraging over 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, corporate analysis and management in the nonprofit sector, Dr. Charity Ezenwa-Onuaku is uniquely positioned to oversee the financial planning and analysis division at the United Planning Organization (UPO).
