To this end, he was recently featured in the Trinidad and Tobago News in 2022. His article, “A Current Bibliography on African Affairs,” was published in a local magazine in 2001. Prior to beginning his career, Dr. Nantambu pursued his own higher education, ultimately achieving a PhD at the Union Institute and University in 1981. To commemorate his earliest achievements, Dr. Nantambu was named an Outstanding Young Man of America in 1986. Attributing much of his success to his positive outlook and consummate professionalism, he is particularly proud of his numerous publications, particularly his book, “Egypt & Afrocentric Geopolitics: Essays on European Supremacy.” In the coming years, Dr. Nantambu looks forward to visiting Ghana and Senegal and advocating for more aid from the United States to the continent of Africa. Bolstered by several decades of practiced expertise, Dr. Kwame Nantambu has cultivated a fulfilling career in the field of education. Now retired from full-time work and living in Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago, he has held the title of professor emeritus at Kent State University since 2003, having previously served as a professor of ancient African civilizations at the institution for 13 years. Throughout his career, Dr. Nantambu has been well-regarded for his vast knowledge in the field of African history. In his other endeavors as an educator, Dr. Nantambu was a professor at Howard University for 16 years. Furthermore, he was also an acting chairman of the college’s program in international studies during his time there. During the earliest years of his career, he was invited to present and speak on African history at Coppin State University in 1982. As part of his continued dedication to his industry, Dr. Nantambu remains affiliated with the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations.
