Specializing in physical fitness and therapy, she has excelled as an occupational therapist, having operated both independently and with many organizations from 1982 to 2015. In 2007, she began her own business, Joint Protection Products LLC, where she continues to serve as president. Ms. Wilbert’s business is well-regarded for its patented Wrist Assured Gloves (WAGs). Ms. Wilbert was inspired to begin her own brand and create her unique line of wrist painrelieving gloves after receiving a wrist injury from a fall and being unable to put any weight on her hands for months. To this end, she is active and health-focused, knowing fully well how easy it is for one to unconsciously sustain an injury that interrupts one’s life. Thus, Ms. Wilbert created WAGs, gloves that are specifically designed to relieve stress on the wrists during weight-bearing exercises. The gloves were officially launched during the Yoga Journal Conference in San Francisco in January 2007. Ms. Wilbert also cultivated a higher education, attending the University of Kansas and achieving a PAULA S. WILBERT PRESIDENT, INVENTOR Joint Protection Products LLC Dennis, MA
