CHAIRMAN, LAWYER AAA Northampton County Bethlehem, PA With more than five decades of professional experience to his credit, Thomas Paul Stitt Sr. has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of law. Since 2002, he has thrived as the owner and head lawyer of his own private law practice in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Additionally, since 2003, he has served as chairman of AAA Northampton County. In all of his professional endeavors, Mr. Stitt has largely specialized in corporate and estate law. In his current leadership and management roles, Mr. Stitt leverages a wealth of prior expertise from his extensive career. To this end, he previously managed a private practice in Easton, Pennsylvania, from 1994 to 2000, and he was a partner with Stitt & Narlesky between 2001 and 2002. He has worked with many other firms and practices throughout the late 1900s and early 2000s, notably serving as a senior partner at Stitt and Cordts from 1986 to 1994 and for Coffin, DeRaymond, Shipman, Stitt, Lewis & Walters from 1975 to 1986. Mr. Stitt originally began his career in 1971, operating as an associate with Coffin and DeRaymond until 1973. Outside of his primary duties, Mr. Stitt was a solicitor for the Easton Suburban Water Authority from 1987 to 2006, and he was a senior partner for Star Enterprises Partnerships from 1986 to 2000. As part of his dedication to his profession, he has remained active as a member of several pertinent organizations, including the American Bar Association, Shriners International and Rotary International. Before entering the field of law, Mr. Stitt honorably served as an intelligence officer in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971, during which time he earned the rank of first lieutenant. He was assigned to the Continental Army Command Intelligence Center and was attached to JAG as part of their defense counsel, where he won 25 out of 26 court-martial trials. He was appointed legal officer for the Intelligence Center and later appointed as the acting adjutant, a role in which he was responsible for all administration for the enterprise.
