Nasrollahi has cultivated a fulfilling career as a business owner and entrepreneur, having accrued more than four decades of professional experience. A native of Iran, he dreamed of venturing to the United States as a child and developing a thriving career as a businessman. Having overcome many hardships, he has been able to do precisely that. Since 1995, Mr. Nasrollahi has served as the president and owner of Rugs of Distinction, his Oriental and designer rug brand, which is primarily based in Greenwood, South Carolina, with two other locations in Augusta, Georgia. Likewise, Mr. Nasrollahi is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Hydro One Beverages. Working alongside his fellow company founders, he focuses on formulating and manufacturing natural beverages, many of which have also received U.S. patents. Such drinks are meant to aid diabetic individuals with blood sugar and blood pressure regulation. Furthermore, Mr. Nasrollahi’s business also developed the first sports beverage to include Co-Q10 and D-Ribose, which help athletes with muscle recovery and cramp prevention. Adjacent to his primary endeavors, Mr. Nasrollahi has also served as the co-founder and chief executive officer of Medicinal Cannabis of America since 2006, where he designed and developed the first U.S. patent-pending beverage that combines CBD and probiotics. This creation is aimed at helping individuals with inflammation, pain and digestive issues. Outside of his other business management roles, Mr. Nasrollahi previously excelled as a teacher during the early stages of his career in 1983. To this end, he taught economics, government and business mathematics at the Cambridge Academy. In his other ownership pursuits, he thrived as a restaurateur in 1981, owning and managing two restaurants in Chicago, Illinois, and one in South Carolina. From 1974 to 1983, as a professional soccer player, he played for three NSL teams. In 1983, his team, the Chicago Pampas, won the NSL Championship, and he was named a member of the 1983 NSL All-Star Team.
