Cutler has cultivated a thriving career in the health care industry. Since 1987, he has served as an independent physician in New York, specializing in high-risk and complicated pregnancies. Additionally, he maintains a strong focus on health care education, having originally begun his career serving as an instructor at Cornell University from 1984 to 1987. Adjacent to his primary duties as a health care practitioner, Dr. Cutler has served as a clinical assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine, the medical college of Cornell University, since 2010. Throughout his career, Dr. Cutler has delivered over 8,000 babies and has been honored with numerous accolades, including the Patients’ Choice Award in 2017 and recognition for his contributions to obstetrics and gynecology. Ever dedicated to his professional endeavors, he remains active as a member of several organizations, including The New York Academy of Sciences and the Medical Society of the State of New York. Furthermore, he is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Dr. Cutler pursued his own formal education, beginning at Wayne State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1976. He ultimately concluded his studies at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, achieving an MD in 1980. In addition to his academic credentials, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Inc. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Cutler continues to engage in his hobby of coin collecting. He published his book, “Gold Coins of the Old West: The Carson City Mint 1870-1893,” in 1994. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his committed work ethic and passion for his profession.
