Specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, he has served as a physician for OBGYN Partners of Augusta, P.C., in Georgia since 1990. An expert in the field, Dr. Williams primarily specializes in microsurgery and fertility obstetrics, in addition to all other aspects of gynecology. The organization was originally formed after the merger of Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates of Augusta and Augusta GYN. As part of his dedication to his profession, Dr. Williams remains affiliated with several other industry-related organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Georgia OBGYN Society. Wellregarded for his accomplishments in the field, he has been presented with numerous honors throughout his career, including a Teacher of the Year Award from the Medical College of Georgia and recognition as the Best Physician and Best OBGYN from Columbia County Magazine. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Dr. Williams pursued a formal education. He began his studies at Emory University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry. He subsequently continued his studies at the Medical College of Georgia, where he achieved an MD in 1976 and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1980. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Williams also holds several certifications, including a medical license in the states of Georgia and South Carolina. In light of his accomplished career, Dr. Williams has largely attributed his success to his sincerity and openness. To wit, he always does his utmost to make his patients feel comfortable and ensure they receive the treatment they need. In accounting for his achievements, he is particularly proud to have developed many positive relationships with his colleagues and clients.
