As part of his duties in the field, Dr. Johnson primarily trains law enforcement agencies on trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, and signs and symptoms of other mental illnesses. Adjacent to his endeavors as a health care specialist, Dr. Johnson has also excelled as a pastor in his community since 1980. He originally began his career in 1975, operating as a local social worker until 1985. As part of his vocational journey, he cultivated a formal education, ultimately achieving a PhD in spiritual psychology and pastoral ministry at Union Institute & University in 2009. Specializing in pediatric care and medicine, he has served as a pediatrician at Pediatrics in Brevard, a network of doctors and groups based in Brevard County, Florida, since 2000. In addition to meeting with and treating numerous patients, Dr. Kennedy oversees a clinical laboratory. He previously managed his own private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from 1987 to 2000. As part of his vocational journey, Dr. Kennedy pursued a formal education, originally earning a BS at Furman University in 1976. Continuing his studies, he ultimately achieved an MD at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in 1984. Additionally, Dr. Kennedy completed his residency at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 1987. Well-regarded for his accomplishments, Dr. Kennedy remains affiliated with the American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
