In accounting for his achievements, he is particularly proud to have formed his own nonprofit, which recently celebrated its 20th year anniversary. In the coming years, Mr. Day looks forward to continuing his work. as a precinct captain in Chicago for several years. Well-versed in the field of finance as well, he excelled as a banker and loan specialist in Palo Alto, California. In light of his knowledge in the banking industry, Mr. Day dedicated much of his time to providing real estate consultations and lecturing students at the College of DuPage and Stanford University. In his own academic pursuits, he holds a diploma from the Institute for Financial Education, part of the American Bankers Association. Well-regarded for his achievements in the field, Mr. Day has been featured in numerous professional publications over the course of his career, including the Cape Cod Times in 2005, Scouting Magazine in 2004 and The Wall Street Journal in 2002. In his own creative endeavors, he manages the Bugler’s Post, the Bugles Across America newsletter. Furthermore, as part of his role as a leader within his nonprofit organization, Mr. Day has personally performed “Taps” at over 500 funeral services, having also received many personal recommendations from colleagues and peers. To further commemorate his accomplishments, Mr. Day has been honored with a plethora of accolades. In 2004, he received a Certificate of Award for Community Service from Daughters of the American Revolution and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home. Additionally, he was named Man of the Year by Sons of the Union in 2000 and 2001. In honor of his success in the military, Mr. Day was previously named Marine of the Year by the Marine Corps and was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Day has largely attributed his success to his dedicated work ethic and his love for his country. He is similarly guided by his personal motto to “never give up” and to always do his best to help
