La Grange, TX SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT Maggie Bellevue leverages more than 15 years of professional experience as a proven business owner and entrepreneur. Specializing in organizational leadership, she has served as the chief executive officer of Treasures International since 2020. The organization is dedicated to providing academic opportunities to students in the Caribbean and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Adjacent to her primary duties, Ms. Bellevue has also served as the chief executive officer of Abundant Life Home Health Services since 2018. Furthermore, since 2008, she has worked with Kingdom Empowerment International Ministries as an executive pastor. Ms. Bellevue has also served on numerous mission trips, and she continues to volunteer with local food pantries and other public services. Prior to beginning her career, she pursued a formal education, earning a BS in psychology at Gwynedd Mercy University in 2004 and later completing coursework toward a Master of Divinity at the Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University. Well-regarded for her creative output as well, Ms. Bellevue manages her own YouTube channel and has authored several books, including her recent 2022 publication, “Treasures of the Soul – Unearthing God’s Purpose for Your Life.” CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Treasures International Willow Grove, PA An advocate for the educational enrichment of Czech culture, history and principles, Retta Slavik Chandler has excelled as the president of the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center Inc. since 1997. Immensely proud of her own Czech heritage, particularly its musical traditions, Ms. Chandler has always sought to preserve Czech values. Drawing upon a BA from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and an MEd in supervision and management from Tarleton State University, Ms. Chandler completed vast coursework in Native American, African American and Hispanic cultures. Through these courses, she learned to value her own cultural upbringing and desired to share her ancestral traditions with younger generations. For her steadfast advocacy, Ms. Chandler received the Civil Society Vision Award from the American Friends of the Czech Republic in 2019. Earlier in her career, she served as a secondary school mathematics teacher for more than 30 years, as well as an independent consultant for five years.
