126 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING William Scheible is a proven leader in systems engineering, cybersecurity and telecommunications with over five decades of experience. Since 2002, he has served as a project and information engineer for the MITRE Corporation, a nonprofit FFRDC organization dedicated to solving problems and developing solutions for the United States federal government. In his leadership roles, he advises on solution options and implementation approaches to unique systems, communications networks and cybersecurity issues. Mr. Scheible also serves as the chief executive officer of the Scheible Group, a consulting firm where he supports commercial clients with research efforts, implementing network services and resolving business process practices as needed. Previously, he was a senior vice president at TNSI, which followed five years at Sprint and Alcatel, where he aided in managing several spinoff businesses. In the formative years of his career, Mr. Scheible was a network specialist at the McDonnell Douglas Corporation (previously Tymshare Inc.), a network consultant at Bank of America, and a senior Federal Sales Representative for Tymnet Inc. Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Scheible earned a BBA in finance at Eastern New Mexico University. He subsequently continued his studies at National Louis University, where he achieved an MS in management in 2003. In addition to his academic credentials, he holds several pertinent certifications, including the INCOSE ESEP, the ISC2 security CISSP, and the QMI quality management SEMQ. Furthermore, he is both a senior and life member of the IEEE and a senior member of INCOSE. Ever committed to his profession, Mr. Scheible remains active as a board member (and former chair) of the NoVA Section of the IEEE and as a board member of the Industry Network Technology Council. Likewise, he is an adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where he frequently lectures on security and systems engineering. Mr. Scheible was formerly active in coaching and officiating multiple youth sports activities, including scouting. He and his wife live in central Virginia.
