Adjacent to his primary duties, Mr. Wingard has also served as the field applications engineering manager for Amphenol since 2013. Adjacent to his primary duties, he remains active in his community as a civic-minded citizen. To this end, he has worked as an environmentalist for many years and promoted numerous sustainability initiatives with his company. Furthermore, Mr. Wingard is a member of the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical & Historical Society. As part of his commitment to his profession, Mr. Wingard maintains affiliation with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Open Compute Project. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, he cultivated a higher education, originally earning a BS in mechanical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He subsequently concluded his studies at Binghamton University and achieved an MBA in manufacturing and marketing in 1992. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Wingard was honored with an Outstanding Engineering and Commercial Achievement Award from the Amphenol Corporation in 2006. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his parents, who provided him with a solid foundation and strong ethics in his formative years. Likewise, in accounting for his achievements, he is particularly proud to have found success in the small computer system interface (SCSI) market. In the coming years, Mr. Wingard hopes to retire and relocate so he can spend more time with his daughter. Having accumulated over three decades of professional experience, Michael L. Wingard is a proven expert in the engineering industry. Since 1986, he has served as a field applications engineering manager for Amphenol Global Interconnect Solutions in Endicott, New York.
