164 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine FINANCE AND INSURANCE Leveraging more than four decades of professional experience, Hector Arzeno has cultivated a fulfilling career in the field of finance. Since 2012, he has served as an independent financial advisor, offering his skills and talents to a variety of clients as needed. Prior to beginning his current course of work, he excelled as the director and founding partner of Fenix Bursatil Sociedad de Bolsa in his native home of Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 2005 to 2012. Mr. Arzeno originally began his career in 1980, serving as the senior vice president of the Banesto Banking Corporation USA, as part of BBC USA, until 1984. He later became the company’s general manager and a member of its board of directors from 1984 to 1990. He would ultimately work with the organization until 2005, having earned the role of executive vice president of the international division after the company had been rebranded as Banco Galicia. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Arzeno pursued a formal education, earning a diploma and license in business administration at the Catholic University of Argentina in 1973. In addition to his academic credentials, he also completed an advanced management program in business administration and management at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Adjacent to his primary endeavors, Mr. Arzeno also remains active in government affairs in his community. Most recently, he became a member of the 151st District of the Connecticut House of Representatives in 2023. Furthermore, since 2016, he has been a member of the board of advisors for the National Public Library in Argentina. Well-regarded for his scholarly output as well, he has spoken at various governmental functions over the course of his career. Likewise, in accounting for his accomplishments, Mr. Arzeno is particularly proud to be the first Democrat elected as a house representative in the history of Greenwich, Connecticut.
