In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Randazzo is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. Ever committed to his profession, Mr. Randazzo remains affiliated with the Wealth Management and Trust Executive Council, sponsored by the American Bankers Association and various estate planning councils. As part of his civicminded efforts, he has regularly volunteered in efforts to feed homeless individuals in his community for many years, and he has always encouraged his staff to do the same. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Randazzo has largely attributed his success to his flexibility, adaptability, and desire to listen to and learn from others. To wit, his guiding motto is “Accept the negative things and always find the lesson learned.” In accounting for his achievements, he is particularly proud to serve as a member of the South Dakota Governor’s Task Force on Trust Administration Review and Reform since 2002. Drawing upon nearly four decades of professional experience, Peter J. Randazzo is a proven leader in the fields of banking, trust and wealth management. Well-versed in trust law and wealth management, he has served as the President of the Trident Trust Company (South Dakota) Inc. since 2020. In his leadership position, he oversees all daily operations for the company, providing critical financial services to clients, in addition to managing other various administrative duties. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Randazzo excelled as a Managing Director and as the head of fiduciary services of the Americas for Citi Private Bank from 1997 to 2020. At the onset of his career, Mr. Randazzo served as a registered representative and internal auditor for Olde Discount Corporation from 1986 to 1988 and Trust Officer at Comerica Bank from 1988 to 1997. Before embarking on his vocational journey, he pursued a formal education, earning a BS in finance, financial markets and investments in Detroit at Wayne State University in 1986.
