Nanuet, NY DR. RICHARD J. BERGIN Leveraging over three decades of professional experience, Dr. Richard J. Bergin has cultivated a fulfilling career in the field of finance. Specializing in economics and financial services, he has served as the North American co-leader of economic consulting and the managing director of Alvarez & Marsal Holdings LLC, having joined the professional services organization in 2022. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Bergin excelled as the managing director of AlixPartners LLP from 2016 to 2021. At the onset of his career, Dr. Bergin was an engagement partner for McKinsey & Company from 1993 to 1997. As part of his vocational journey, he also pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving a BS in chemical engineering at the University of Sydney in his home of Australia and both an MBA and a DBA in economics and finance at the Harvard Business School. To commemorate his accomplishments, Dr. Bergin has been honored as a Knox Scholar, a Fulbright Scholar and a Menzies Scholar by his collegiate peers. Attributing much of his success to the influence of his parents, he is proud to have assisted many companies throughout his time in the field. Drawing upon over 30 years of professional experience, Beth L. Blecker is a proven expert in the field of finance. Specializing in wealth management and tax and estate planning, she has served as the owner and chief executive officer of Eastern Planning Inc. since 2000, having originally joined the financial services firm as an advisor and co-owner in 1995. Now serving as the head of the company, Ms. Blecker focuses on assisting clients with planning for and attaining their various financial goals. Ever committed to her profession, Ms. Blecker remains affiliated with the Business Council of Westchester. Before beginning her career, she cultivated a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in education at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1975. In addition to her academic credentials, she has also been certified as an Ed Slott master elite advisor. In her creative endeavors, Ms. Blecker authored her 2021 book, “It’s Not Just Money, It’s Life.” Well-regarded as a civic-minded citizen as well, she is a board member of the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education.
