Since 2006, he has operated as a money manager for TIG (Tiedemann Investment Group) Advisors LLC in New York, having originally joined the company in 1996. At the onset of his career, Mr. Matos worked with the Colgate-Palmolive Company in his native home of the Dominican Republic from 1971 until he immigrated to the United States in 1981. Adjacent to his primary duties, Mr. Matos remains active as a civicminded citizen, regularly volunteering with The River Fund in New York. As part of his vocational journey, he also pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving a bachelor’s degree in economics at Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in 1980.
