Mr. Kuehn earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the University of Washington in 1967 and a Master of Business Administration at the University of North Dakota in 1975. Alongside his primary vocation, he has also maintained his dedication to civic advocacy, having served as a Huntsville Women’s Business Center mentor, on the Huntsville Botanical Gardens board of directors, and as the president of a local chapter of the Military Officers Association of America. Mr. Kuehn has largely attributed his achievements to his faith and family, which provided him with a foundation for success. Now a widower, he looks forward to continuing his community support endeavors while spending time traveling and engaging with family and friends. Drawing upon over 55 years of professional experience, Col. Robert John Kuehn Jr. has cultivated an accomplished career as a multifaceted leader. Now retired from full-time work, his final professional venture was to found Silver Eagle Consulting, a business development consultancy based in Huntsville, Alabama, where he served as the president from 2010 to 2021. In his more recent endeavors, Mr. Kuehn was a consultant for Third Coast Federal Inc. between 2019 and 2021. Mr. Kuehn honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1997, achieving the rank of colonel and serving in leadership positions as a base commander and senior staff officer at the Air Force Headquarters and Department of Defense. He later operated in the aerospace and defense industry at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the United States Department of the Army from 1998 to 2010 as an executive in defense and aerospace firms in Huntsville, Alabama.
