204 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Dr. Aravindhan Arumugarajah has cultivated a career of excellence in the health care industry, with more than 20 years of professional experience to his credit. Since 2018, he has served as a physician for Nephrology Associates of Northern Illinois and Indiana. As an expert in the field, he specializes in nephrology and various procedures pertaining to hypertension. Likewise, Dr. Arumugarajah’s responsibilities include medical matters such as acute kidney injuries, electrolyte issues, renal replacement therapy, and hyperkalemia and hypokalemia. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Arumugarajah served as a physician for Northwest Indiana Nephrology, P.C. for several years. Additionally, in 2015, he was a hospitalist for Temple Physicians, Inc. As part of his vocational journey, he pursued a formal education, originally earning a Bachelor of Science in psychology at The Pennsylvania State University in 2005. Additionally, he received a Master of Science in biomedical sciences in 2007. After ultimately achieving a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011, Dr. Arumugarajah completed his residency in internal medicine at the college in 2014. Furthermore, he participated in a fellowship in nephrology at the Allegheny Health Network between 2015 and 2017. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Arumugarajah is fully licensed as a physician in the states of Indiana and Pennsylvania. Likewise, he is board certified in internal medicine. Well-regarded for his accomplishments in the field, Dr. Arumugarajah was previously honored with the City Avenue Award. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his courage, perseverance and strength of character.
