As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Shafer pursued a formal education at Iowa Central Community College, where he earned an associate degree in business in 2010. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his positive mindset and attitude, as well as his adaptability and willingness to tackle new challenges. Bolstered by more than a decade of professional experience, Nathan D. Shafer is an expert in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). In 2023, he became the president and owner of Shafer Heating & Cooling LLC, making him the third generation in his family to lead the Ohio-based HVAC contracting company. The enterprise was originally founded by his grandfather and father in 1985, with Mr. Shafer officially joining the family business in 2010. From 2010 to 2023, Mr. Shafer worked in various operational and general management positions, overseeing items such as customer service, installations, sales, employee training, inventory and marketing. Now, as a leader within the company, he specializes in building new systems and guiding company processes and initiatives. Likewise, he remains well-versed in developing fruitful relationships with employees, clients and fellow industry professionals.
