He also continues to participate as a civic-minded citizen in his community, regularly volunteering with and donating to local charitable organizations and cancer societies in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Dr. Peters previously pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving a Doctor of Optometry at Northampton College in 1961 and attaining medical licenses in the United States and the United Kingdom. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Dr. Peters was honored as a lifetime fellow of the College of Optometrists. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his modesty. Likewise, in accounting for his achievements, he is particularly proud to have been invited to Downing Street on two occasions. In the coming years, Dr. Peters looks forward to continuing his efforts to become a well-established author. With more than six decades of professional experience to his credit, Dr. Howard J. Peters has cultivated a fulfilling career as a doctor and writer. For much of his career, he excelled in the fields of optometry and refractive surgery, working as an optometrist at Eye Q for many years. Likewise, he worked extensively with Dolland & Aitchison Ltd. in the United Kingdom. Throughout his time in the field, Dr. Peters largely focused on evaluating and treating patients with refractive issues and performing surgeries as needed. Since retiring from his work as a medical professional, Dr. Peters has dedicated himself to his passion as a writer of fiction and political commentary. In addition to authoring several commentary pieces, his first published book, “Download: An Alternative Story of Noah & His Ark,” was released in 2006, and he is currently working on its sequel, tentatively titled “Upload.” As part of his dedication to his professional interests, Dr. Peters remains affiliated with the HOWARD J.
