255 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT In recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Brown has maintained his AV-Rated status from Martindale-Hubbell for more than 25 years. Additionally, he is a fellow of the American College of Trial Advocates, a member and past president of the Maryland chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and a diplomate of the American Association for Justice. Adjacent to his primary professional interests, Mr. Brown has been active as a member of the Maryland Archery Association. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Brown has largely attributed his success to his passion for justice and disdain for intolerance. To this end, he has become well-known for his consulting skills and expertise as a trial consultant and certified mediator in various sectors of the law. Looking toward the future, Mr. Brown hopes to focus more on facilitating jury focus groups. Well-regarded for his commitment to civic advocacy as well, Mr. Brown has maintained his affiliation with the Saint Margaret Roman Catholic Church for over 20 years. He also previously chaired the John Carroll School from 2000 to 2007, and he has retained the title of trustee emeritus at the institution since 2009. Similarly, Mr. Brown is a former chair of the Harford Day School. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Brown pursued his own formal education, beginning at Villanova University, where he received a Bachelor of Art in English literature, expository writing and philosophy in 1971. He subsequently continued his studies at the University of Baltimore School of Law and achieved a JD, magna cum laude, in 1974. During his time in Baltimore, Mr. Brown was notably elected to the Hueisler Honor Society for Academic Excellence.
