Since beginning his career in 1992, he has had the pleasure of practicing law around the world in such nations as England, Singapore and China. Additionally, Mr. Stern has acted as an editorial board member for the International Journal for the Rule of Law since 2018. Before beginning his career, Mr. Stern cultivated his formal education, ultimately achieving a JD, cum laude, at the Duke University School of Law in 1991. In addition to his academic credentials, he has been admitted to practice law by several state bar associations and multiple United States Courts of Appeal and District Courts. Furthermore, he remains active as a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
