In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his intellectual curiosity, which played a large role in guiding his pursuits in the professional business environment. To this end, he has always maintained a healthy curiosity for understanding how and why businesses work the way they do and is always looking for opportunities for thoughtful improvement. This has led to his academic endeavors and has ultimately allowed him to thrive in the corporate world. In accounting for his accomplishments, Mr. Robledo Tort is particularly proud of his work defining the look and feel of Target’s retail store presence. Looking toward the future, he hopes to write a book about the application of design-thinking methodologies within the business world. Bolstered by more than 20 years of professional experience, Manuel Robledo Tort is a proven expert in the fields of program management and operations. He recently joined Apple Inc. in 2022, working in the company’s retail operations department, where he focuses on preparing new Apple products for public launch. Prior to his current role, he worked as a director at Target Corporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 2011 to 2022. During his time at Target, Mr. Robledo Tort held several roles within the company’s merchandising and properties business units. At the onset of his career, Mr. Robledo Tort served as a product management consultant for SuperTour.com and as a project manager for Kaplan-McLaughlin-Diaz. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, he cultivated a formal education. He began his studies at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture in 1999. He subsequently continued his studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management, where he was honored with the Miriam Sherburne Fellowship and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2005.
