30 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT CHRIS “CASSIDY” MENTCH SINGER, SONGWRITER, AUTHOR Littleton, CO With several decades of professional experience to his credit, Chris “Cassidy” Mentch has cultivated a career of excellence in the performing arts industry as a singer, songwriter and recording artist. As part of his extensive creative repertoire, he has written and recorded many notable songs, including “Eagles Over Aberdeen,” “Where Words Don’t Come Easy,” “We Are One,” “Rocky Mountain Melodies” and “You Taught Us to Fly” (a tribute to John Denver). Mr. Mentch recently wrote and recorded the theme song “Inside Straight” and the duet “My Alias” for the motion picture and pilot of “Instruments of Justice.” Two of Mr. Mentch’s songs first aired during a live one-hour interview with IRMIX Radio. Adjacent to his primary efforts as a musician, he had found equal success as an author, having penned his first book, titled “As I See It: Reasons, Rhymes, and Reflections; The Spirit of a ‘Well-Versed’ Philosophy.” The collection of songs and poetry presents further insights into Mr. Mentch’s creative process and approach to songwriting and poetry. The book also serves to inspire others in their own creative pursuits. Mr. Mentch initially began his career as a professional in business and finance services, working as a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. for several years. While he felt his academic and professional achievements were rewarding, his passion for communicating a positive message through music and his voice never left his side. He again turned his time and attention to reaching an ever-larger audience through various mediums. This led him to focus his time and attention on his music, poetry and writing, which he believes can bring individuals together and turn the divisiveness of our differences, harvesting those differences as enduring strengths for our common good. Mr. Mentch says, “Our commonalities are the glue of society, our differences are the dynamic strengths we can all share, and strength through diversity and diversity is what sets America apart.” As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Mentch pursued a formal education.
